หลังมีการประกาศว่าโปรเจกต์หนังภาคที่ 4 ของ Captain America กำลังถูกพัฒนาโดยผู้สร้างซีรีส์ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier และในตอนจบของซีรีส์เอง เราก็ได้เห็นโฉมหน้าของผู้ที่มารับช่วงต่อโล่ของ Captain America แล้วเป็นที่เรียบร้อย
อัปเดตความคืบหน้าโปรเจกต์ Deadline รายงานว่า Anthony Mackie ตกลงเซ็นสัญญาเพื่อรับบทนำใน Captain America 4 แล้วเป็นที่เรียบร้อย (ซึ่งจะรับบทอะไรนั้นก็คงไม่ต้องเดากันให้เหนื่อย)
อย่างไรก็ตามตอนนี้หนังยังไม่มีชื่ออย่างเป็นทางการ และยังไม่มีการประกาศว่าใครจะมานั่งแท่นกำกับ รวมไปถึงยังไม่มีการยืนยัว่า Sebastian Stan คู่หูคู่กัดใน The Falcon and the Winter Soldier จะกลับมาร่วมแสดงในหนังเรื่องนี้หรือไม่
