Hello~大地之友們～好耐無同大家更新法羅嘅資訊啦～由於武漢肺炎嘅關係，我知道好多大地之友無奈取消左法羅嘅行程😣到目前為止，喺法羅染病嘅人數總共有184個，其中166人已經康復，暫時無人需要住院同無死亡個案，而過去一星期都無新增個案👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻不過大部分人仍然在家工作，學校亦繼續停課，而餐廳同大部分商店仍然暫停營業，大家都未敢鬆懈。
行程取消一定好掃興同失望，不過法羅群島嘅旅遊局剛剛推出左個新玩意！等大家可以望梅止渴。佢地諗左一個叫 Remote Tourism（遙控旅遊） 嘅 idea 。大家輕鬆在家，就可以透過佢地設置嘅網站，控制安排喺景點嘅法羅人，向前向後，行左行右，甚至跳高😂 法羅人會喺頭上設置一部攝錄機，大家就好似打機玩super mario咁，有一分鐘嘅機會控制法羅人，甚至直升機嘅機師，然後透過攝錄機，欣賞法羅嘅美景😊

好多大地之友都好擔心法羅群島呢個淨土有一日會被遊客侵佔。其實法國羅群島嘅旅遊局同大家一樣，有同樣嘅憂慮，喺過去幾年，法羅群島有10%嘅遊客增長。旅遊局一方面大力推動法羅群島嘅旅遊業發展，另一方面亦都重視保育嘅工作。有見及此，旅遊局喺最近實行左個名為” Closed for Maintenance,Open for Voluntourism”嘅 project ，喺25個國家招募左100名「遊客義工」，齊齊為保護法羅環境出一分力。就喺4月最後嘅一個周末，關閉左法羅群島十個主要景點，進行維修同保育工程，工作包括為破爛嘅山泥路舖路、保護雀鳥棲息地、重建古老嘅石標、設置路牌協助遊客搵路等等。
法羅群島嘅旅遊局希望藉住今次嘅活動引起其他國家嘅注意，可以效法法羅為國家環境嘅保育出一分力，並且呼籲遊客幫手，以減低旅行業對環境嘅破壞。
今次為期兩日嘅project 好成功，完左之後所有義工聚埋一齊開左個慶祝party,食左餐勁嘅，配埋當地啤酒，法羅DJ 表演，一齊狂歡跳傳統法羅鎖舞慶祝。今次大會為義工提供左三晚住宿同三日嘅早午晚餐。今年錯過左嘅，唔緊要，下年仲有機會！詳情可以睇呢個網站：

100 voluntourists helped us preserve our green islands

On the last weekend of April, 100 voluntourists from 25 countries helped us maintain and preserve 10 of our most popular tourist sites.
This was part of our ‘Closed for Maintenance, Open for Voluntourism’ project, launched for the first time globally this year.
Projects completed by the Maintenance Crews included creating walking paths in well-trodden areas, constructing viewpoints to help preserve nature and protect birdlife sanctuaries, re-building ancient cairns and erecting signs and posts to aid wayfinding.
We hope that our new project may inspire other countries to follow suit and to set up their own Maintenance Crews, encouraging visitors to help in whatever way is needed to redress the impact of tourism.
Following a successful pilot scheme, we plan to roll out another ‘closed for maintenance, open for voluntourism’ weekend in spring 2020, with final dates to be confirmed.

The cold never bothered you anyway? Then head 200km North of the Arctic Circle to Jukkasjärvi, Sweden and chill in the world’s first hotel constructed entirely out of ice and snow. For an even quirkier activity head to the Streymoy, the largest of the Faroe Islands. Iceland’s Blue Lagoon should be at the top of your bucket list. The famously milky-blue waters have captivated travellers and contributed to the country’s tourism boom in recent years. The waters are full of mineral salts, healthy algae and a kind of silica mud that contributes to its cloudy blue color as well as being a nourishing tonic for the human skin. A little-known fact is that the lagoon was the accidental result of drilling by the Svartsengi Geothermal Plant.
