The She Universe is a celebration of Kotex 100 years with 100 amazing Malaysian superwomen who have inspired us all!
She always knew that being a singer was her calling. There was nothing else she wanted to do, and she had been obsessed with “The Sound of Music” since she was a child! And so Dasha joined singing competitions and got started with singing, even though she had to deal with crippling stage fright. It was such a challenge for her, she even once dropped out of a competition due to nerves. But she never gave up. Success eventually came when her single, "Cleverly", peaked at No. 1 on the UK Soul Charts, making a mark as the first Malaysian to do so. Her journey has certainly motivated others to be fearless, accept mistakes, and know that there is nothing worse than not trying in life. Because who knows? You too, can make it.
