Drizzle. Mud. Slopes. Rocky paths.
All of that didn't deter us from exploring Windsor Nature Park and completing a 2.5-hour family hike, woohoo!
The kids were excited to spot animals and bugs including squirrels, monkeys, chickens, spiders, ants, caterpillars, butterflies, snails, slugs, grasshoppers, salamanders and a monitor lizard. Woohoo! The boy did suffer a fall halfway and cut his leg on a rock but amazingly, he persevered and told us he wanted to carry on walking. In fact, he was so determined that he continued on his own, didn't ask to be carried and didn't need us to hold him too. Yup, this soon-to-be 5yo seems all set to be a big brother already, judging by how he is getting stronger and more resilient over time.
We are hoping to go on more hikes around Singapore so that we can explore more of nature and be amazed by its wonders. Till the next trip!
