#セガが稼働させた、AC用横スクロールACT作('89年)からのMDアレンジ移植版。

忍シリーズのシステムをベースに、ジョー・ムサシの息子である主人公ハヤテ(疾風)となり、抜け忍となった父によって、追っ手から逃れる為にニューヨークに漂着、忍犬ヤマトと共に襲い掛かってくる敵を手裏剣や忍刀を使って倒していく。

ゲームは囚われている人々を救出する事が目的。
男性を救出すると1000pts、女性を救出すると手裏剣がパワーアップ。
ハヤテは各ステージで忍術を1回使用でき、ステージ最後にはボスが待ち構えている。

BGMはAC版から引き続き、ギャラクシーフォース(SMS/'89年)や、アフターバーナー クライマックス(PS3/'10年)等の塚原氏が作曲、AC版から楽曲が一新された。

#'91年にNCS,WINDS,CUBEが開発、メサイヤが発売した、MD用横STG。
時は中世付近、人類の領地に魔族による侵攻が始まり、窮地に追い込まれた人々を救う為に山中に隠れていた翼族の青年が立ち上がった。

STGの基本を突き進んだ硬派な横スクロールSTGで、速度の違う弾が大量に飛び交う中、攻略していく。
道中に出現するマジックスクロールを取る事で、攻撃魔法・援護魔法が使用可能。また、ジェムは武器強化や1UPが行える。
ラインスクロール機能を使用した擬似回転や多重スクロールも大きな見どころだが…
その特異な世界観、ムキムキな天使が自機とくれば"超兄貴"シリーズの原型と言われても納得出来るだろう。
キャラデザインも超兄貴の中井覚氏が行っている。
本作は機械と人間が融合した醜悪な魔族のデカキャラ達が出てくる、まさに超兄貴の兄貴。

BGMはワンダラーズ フロム イース(MD/'91年)や、アフターバーナーII(MD/'90年)等の岩垂氏ら2名による作曲であり、バロックを基調にしながらもリズミカルなパーカッションを加え、ヒロイズムをもたせている。

#'94年にゲームフリークが開発、セガが発売した、MD用アクション作品。
ポケットモンスターが出る前に作られた作品であり、開発スタッフが同じである影響から、ポケモンとの繋がりが多い。
基本は横スクロールで進み、高速移動の"ライトニングダッシュ"によりエネルギーを貯蓄、スパークリング状態のときにAを押すと斜め上へ飛ぶボルテッカーが発動、発動中は仮面獣を縦横無尽に飛び回る。Bにはパルスラッシュなる近距離攻撃を装備。

高速で動き回るスピード感やカラフルでビビッドなMD特有の背景の色使いはまさにMDならではの世界と言える。

BGMは増田氏が作曲、StereotypeやMijk Van Djikがリミックス・アルバムや曲を出すほどエレクトロ全開で作られている。
