月事遲到心慌慌?
月經準時報到當然最好,偶爾遲到一次半次也不用擔心,但如果連續兩個週期或以上都比平時延後七天或以上,中醫稱為「月經後期」,就要留意調理身體了。
月經遲到常見原因及紓緩方法:
.壓力大
伴隨症狀:經血色帶紫紅、有血塊、小腹脹痛、乳房脹痛等。
紓緩方法:疏肝解鬱,少吃生冷油膩食物

Worried about late periods?
It is good to have periods on time, and it is still fine to experience late periods occasionally. However, if it happens for two cycles consecutively or menstruation begins seven days later than its usual date, we need to start looking into the problem. 扭傷冷敷定熱敷?❄️🔥
一不小心扭傷腳踝,朋友說立即冷敷能止痛,亦有朋友說應該熱敷才能消腫,究竟哪一個方法才對?
冷敷目的是減慢患處充血的情況,亦能止痛去腫,一般適用於急性受傷,患處有紅、腫、熱、痛的症狀,此時宜冷敷處理,緩和充血,消除水腫。冷敷時不要直接將冰塊放在患處上面,宜用一個袋盛載冰塊,加入適量水紮好製成冰袋,並且最好隔著毛巾冷敷患處。冷敷時間不宜過長,每次10-20分鐘,休息10分鐘再敷。
熱敷目的是增加患處的血液循環,如果扭傷位置已沒有發紅或發熱症狀、瘀傷在形成72小時後皮下血管已凝血、或者屬於慢性炎症及痛症,例如慢性腰頸痛、肌肉疲勞等就適宜熱敷,促進血液循環,帶走局部發炎物質,亦能放鬆肌肉。熱敷可以使用熱毛巾或熱雞蛋,熱毛巾要注意溫度不宜過熱以免燙傷皮膚,熱敷患處10-20分鐘,將毛巾重覆弄熱使用;另外亦可以用薄毛巾包著烚熟的雞蛋熱敷患處,雞蛋在患處滾動亦有助溫通活血,加速消除瘀青。

Should you use hot or cold compression to treat sprains?
To treat a sprained ankle, some friends would suggest cold compress, while others would advise using hot compress to reduce swelling. So which is the correct method?
Cold compress can reduce the increased blood flow as well as relieve pain and swelling, and is suitable to use in emergency cases. Using cold compress on the injury that exhibit symptoms like redness, swelling, pain, and hot to touch, can reduce increased blood flow and water retention.
Avoid placing ice cubes directly on the injury. Put them in a bag with an appropriate amount of water, and cushion it with a towel before placing directly on the affected area. You should do this every 10 to 20 minutes, and repeat the action after a 10-minute rest.
Hot compress on the other hand encourages blood circulation. It is suitable to be used on the sprained areas that do not show redness or feel warm to touch; when blood clots have formed beneath the skin after 72 hours; also when chronic inflammation occurs, such as chronic pain on the neck and waist or muscle fatigue. Under such circumstances, hot compress improves blood circulation, relieves inflammation on specific areas, and helps relax the muscles.
You may use hot towel or warm boiled egg to carry out hot compress, but do keep an eye on the temperature of the towel to ensure it does not burn the skin. Place the item on the injury for 10 – 20 minutes, then warm the towel before reusing it. You may also wrap a boiled egg with a towel and massage the area to encourage blood circulation and speed up the healing process around the bruises.

最近有眼尖的孩子發現:
俐媽總是穿長裙,

Kueh tutu is a small steamed cake made of finely pounded rice flour and filled with either ground peanuts or grated coconut cooked in gula melaka.
It is made by steaming rice flour in a special mould. The step of dry frying the rice flour, sieving it after adding water to it and letting it rest 30 minutes before steaming will ensure the unmolding process goes smoothly without cracks.
