เมื่อคืนนี้ทาง Apple ได้เปิดตัว iPhone 12 ซึ่งเป็น iPhone รุ่นแรกของทาง Apple ที่รองรับ 5G อย่างเป็นทางการ โดยแยกออกเป็น 4 รุ่น คือ iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max

โดย iPhone 12 จะใช้ขุมพลังจากชิปเซ็ต A14 Bionic ที่ทาง Apple กล่าวว่านี่คือชิ ปที่ทรงพลังที่สุดเท่าที่ Apple เคยสร้างมา และด้วย CPU 6-core และ GPU 4-core ทำให้ iPhone 12 มีความเร็วยิ่งกว่าสมาร์ทโฟนใดๆ สูงสุดถึง 50% พร้อมหน้าจอ Super Retina XDR ที่รองรับความละเอียด 2340 x 1080

ตัวเครื่อง iPhone 12 และ iPhone 12 mini จะใช้กรอบอะลูมิเนียม ส่วน iPhone 12 Pro และ 12 Pro Max จะใช้กรอบสแตนเลส พร้อมด้วยเทคโนโลยี Ceramic Shield ซึ่งนำเสนอหน้าจอที่แข็งที่สุดกว่าที่สมาร์ทโฟนใดๆ เคยทำได้ เพิ่มอัตราการรอดจากอาการหน้าจอแตก เมื่อตกจากที่สูงถึง 4 เท่า และมีขนาดตัวเครื่องที่บางกว่า เล็กกว่า เบากว่า 11% - 16%
