BURMESE CONDIMENTS 🧄 Ever wondered what food in Myanmar tastes like? The Burmese cuisine carries heavy Indian, Chinese and Thai influences, and is delightfully packed with condiments in all kinds of flavours imaginable from spicy, sweet, sour to salty! The most popular ones are mango pickle relish, balachaung (shrimp and ngapi floss), and a variety of preserved vegetables in local rice wine! 🇲🇲

is burmese food spicy 在 Lucy Loves To Eat Facebook 的精選貼文
Wonderful new flavours tasted Lahpet. It is so so great to see newer cuisines like Burmese food cropping up in London.
Love the spicy chewy dumplings which were very much like savoury mochi, what a revelation! The masala hake was a flavour explosion, couldn’t stop digging at that delicious sauce.
Burmese green tea leaf salad is one of the best things I’ve eaten in recent years, the tangy fermented green tea leaves are so addictive especially paired with crunchy fried broad beans, but it didn’t beat the one The Shan State, and nor did the Shan State noodles. Personal preference though 🤓 @ Lahpet
