最先是由接觸到這首歌是聽了Pentatonix的Cover
還以為是甚麼宗教歌曲 但歌詞感動到我亂七八糟
查了之後才知道約翰藍儂的傳奇 原來是這個意思

有次作文課，老師要約翰寫下長大後的志願
他寫下「快樂」
老師說：
「你根本沒搞懂我出的題目！」
約翰回答：
「我五歲時，媽媽告訴我
快樂是人生的關鍵
你說我沒搞清楚題目，我說是你沒搞清楚人生。」

歸鄉的路上

男女主角初次見面，是在波蘭一個民族歌舞團的甄選會上，在第一瞬間，他愛上了她的聲線，當然還有一雙似乎承受了許多痛苦的眼睛；她愛上了他的才華，她也愛他愛她。然而，她是一個試圖弒父的人，也就是一個釋囚，所以她必須接受國家的任務，比如暗中監察他，報告他對國家不忠誠的行為，當然，她沒有。

Two hearts four eyes
Crying all day and night long
Dark eyes, you cry because you can't be together
You can't be together

就如這首貫穿整部電影的波蘭民謠一樣，有些相愛的人就是不能夠在一起，箇中有諸多原因，最使人無力也最不能解決的，大概就是政治原因吧。男主角被政治審查，歌舞團淪為政治宣傳工具，本來只想分享民謠的純粹，卻被逼在表演的時候升旗大大的史達林肖像，大家心裡都懂，卻沒人敢說些什麼。後來他叫她一起從東柏林逃亡到法國，可是她沒有出現。

過了四年才能看到她一眼，在南斯拉夫，她在台上唱著這首熟悉的歌，看著台下久別的他，本來已經哀愁的歌變得更哀愁了。後來她輾轉嫁了給一個不愛的意大利人，「合法地」來到了巴黎找他，脫離了民族服，穿上小黑裙、戴上珍珠項鍊，在酒吧裡唱著法文爵士版的家鄉民謠。

從此，法國成為了她的家，在小閣樓跟愛人討論著新專輯的歌詞，聽起來是相當美滿寫意的生活，伴侶、夢想、自由的齊全了，還有什麼可以抱怨的呢？然而她卻發現他愛上了為歌曲填詞的女詩人，然而他也沒有否認，或許人在異鄉會特別不安的緣故，在字裡行間醞釀起了風波，就這樣，她任性地回到了波蘭。

為了找她，他冒死會到了不自由的家邦，可謂送羊入虎口，再一次重逢，他已經在波蘭的監獄裡。昔日她因為參加歌舞團而不用再坐牢，今天她為了救他嫁了給歌舞團的首長，也算是償還彼此的債吧？就這樣，他們回到了起點，他看著在遠方的她，分別是他們比當初更不自由。

But I went for him anyway and love him until the end
I will love him until the end

她說，她並沒有真正嫁給那兩位先生，因為他們並沒有在教堂行禮，所以最後她帶他來到殘破的教堂，沒有見證的人、沒有鮮花、沒有陪伴他們大半輩子的音樂，只有一根蠟燭、幾顆安眠藥、與一句簡單的誓言：

“… and I swear I will never leave you in any case, until death.”

下一個鏡頭，他們坐在樹下，看著遠方的風景，再下一個鏡頭，他們就不見了。在結婚到死亡之前，他們寸步沒有離開過對方，誓言真的守住了，但卻十分悲涼。

“Come to the other side. There will be a better view from there.”

最近也難免有離開香港的想法，坦白說這幾年來偶爾也會想到這個議題，然而去哪兒好呢？世界上當然有許多宜居的美好的城市，但那裡沒有我的根，而無論如何，香港都是我的故鄉，只是這邊越來越沒有故鄉的氣息而已。魯迅在《故鄉》裡說：「這些年我一直走在歸鄉的路上，而我的家卻在流浪。」大概此刻，大家也有同樣的心情吧？

希望他們下輩子，會有更美好的風景。關於希望，魯迅也說過：「希望是本無所謂有，無所謂無的。這正如地上的路；其實地上本沒有路，走的人多了，也便成了路。」

就只能一直走下去吧？

On the track, the 17-year-old pop singer shouts out Pixar films like A Bug's Life, WALL-E, The Incredibles and Toy Story, while grappling with harsh realities of growing up. "At age of nine, I lived through Pixar on a screen/ And every single problem seemed so little then to me/ 'Cause Flik still saved the anthill even though I couldn't see beyond/ The kids at school that hated me and my insecurity/ Oh I thought I was invincible/ But Mr. Incredible could only take so much," he croons on the melancholy single.

“'Fairytale" is about the moment where someone you look up to lets you down," Livingston, who hails from Denton, Texas, tells Billboard. "Putting this idea in the form of Pixar superheroes felt like the right way for me to tell my story. Everyone knows these stories and their moral lessons, so drawing from them gave me a really easy starting point to express my warning about putting all of your faith in someone who is just as human as you are.”

“We knew there was something special about Livingston from the moment we met him," add Elektra Music Group co-presidents Mike Easterlin and Gregg Nadel. "At seventeen years old, it’s already evident he is a true artist -- from writing and recording to mixing and producing all on his own, we know it’s just the beginning for Livingston.
