“Yes, you can!” I don’t know how many of you are like me.
There’s so many instance because of certain gear and insecurities I admit defeat and known that even thou I have given my all I might not be able to complete the task or accept the challenge and yet all I needed was a calm reassurance voice telling me “Yes, you can!” . Many times or the other I don’t need a voice of logic, I don’t need a voice to calculate the risk for me, I know my bets but all I need is a calm voice to say hey it’s ok you can do this ..I think I’m not alone for me to say that specially with times like this it’s the most comforting sense of encouragement for you to wake up to :)
I have a fear of heights .. in fact I am afraid of many things. It’s just I mask it well with “hey if I don’t try I might miss out on something awesome in life.. recently , well not that recent. A friend that I met on Instagram asked me out for a hike and I said yes without asking how far, how steep, how high ... yet I was confident enough that it would be ok and it was not just ok. It was magical. Even thou I had to hold on to ropes , vines. Climb on boulders and steep elevations but that view that awaits me at the top was just breathtaking.
If your reading this, do me a favour and when it’s safe be that someone’s calm assurance voice and say “yes, you can!” .. you wont know if just that 3 words you have just became someone’s hero.
