We had a family luncheon at Tim Ho Wan
in Suntec City to celebrate Mother's Day in advance, woohoo! Yeap, this Mama lovvvveees Dim Sum and it's always such a treat to be able to indugle in yummy chee cheong fun, siew mai and har gow.
It's a good thing that the hubby and all our kids love Dim Sum too! Here are our favourite picks from Tim Ho Wan - Ariel loves the egg tarts, Angel loves the pan-fried radish cake, Asher loves the wonton noodle soup, the hubby likes the fried taro dumplings while I like the baked BBQ pork buns. Yummy! Add a pot of hot Pu'er tea and this meal definitely satisfies all my cravings and makes me a happy mum.
I realise we've been coming to Suntec City more often these days because it has everything we need and keeps us occupied the whole day. After our lunch where we left with full tummies, the kids and I had fun at the arcade - hubby took the sleeping baby for a walk so I could play! - before making our way to the Fountain of Wealth to make a wish.
Having my loved ones safe, healthy and happy beside me - that is all I need for this Mother's Day. ❤

ヤンニョム餃子
2人分
材料:
■ヤンニョムダレ
コチュジャン 大さじ2
しょうゆ 大さじ1
酒 大さじ1
みりん 大さじ1
砂糖 大さじ1
ケチャップ 小さじ1
白すりごま 小さじ1
おろしにんにく 小さじ1
ごま油 大さじ1/2
■揚げ餃子
豚ひき肉 120g
ニラ(みじん切り)1/2束
キャベツ(みじん切り)1/4個
玉ねぎ(みじん切り)1/4個
塩 少々
コショウ 少々
A酒 大さじ1/2
Aしょうゆ 大さじ1/2
Aごま油 大さじ1/2
Aおろししょうが 小さじ1/2
餃子の皮 20枚前後
サラダ油 大さじ6
白髪ねぎ 20g
糸唐辛子 適量
作り方:
1.ヤンニョムダレの材料を全て混ぜ合わせる。
2.揚げ餃子を作る。
ボウルに、豚ひき肉、塩、コショウを入れ、しっかりとこね、ニラ、キャベツ、玉ねぎを加えて混ぜ合わせ、Aを加えてさらにしっかりと全体を混ぜ合わせる。
3.餃子の皮のふちに水を付け、(2)を包み、油をしいたフライパンで揚げ焼にする。
4.(3)のフライパンの油をキッチンペーパーで軽く拭きとり、ヤンニョムダレを入れ、揚げ餃子に絡ませる。
5.器に盛り、白髪ねぎにした白ねぎ、糸唐辛子をのせて完成!

INGREDIENTS:
◆Yangneyom sauce
2 tablespoons gochujang
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sake
1 tablespoon mirin
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon ketchup
1 teaspoon crushed sesame seed
1 teaspoon grated garlic
1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
◆Fried dumplings
120g ground pork
1/2 bunch Chinese chives (chopped)
1/4 cabbage (chopped)
1/4 onion (chopped)
Some salt n pepper
A
1/2 tablespoon sake
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
20 dumpling wrappers
6 tablespoons oil
20g leek
Some chili threads
PREPARATION:
1. For Yangneyom sauce: Mix all ingredients for the sauce.
2. For fried dumplings: Knead ground pork, salt, and pepper well in a bowl. Add Chinese chives, onions, then mix. Add all A ingredients and knead some more.
3. With your finger, apply some water on the edge of the wrapper. Place some (2) on the center and close the wrapper. Grill-fry dumplings in a pan with oil.
4. Absorb excess oil with a paper towel from the pan. Pour Yangneyom sauce into the pan.
5. Transfer dumplings with sauce to a plate. Place some shredded leeks and chili threads on top.
6. Enjoy!

【Ingredients】Servings: 20 Pieces
1 package gyoza wrappers (20 sheets)
For The Gyoza Fillings
250g Wombok (Chinese Cabbage)
1/2tsp Salt
★140g Ground pork
★1tsp Shaoxing rice wine
(or SAKE)
★1tsp Soy sauce
★1tsp Chicken soup stock granules plus 1tsp Hot water
★1 tsp Sesame oil
★1 clove garlic (grated)
*Sesame oil
【Directions】
①Chop the Wombok finely and massage 1 teaspoons of Salt into the Wombok, then leave it stand for a while. Squeeze the Wombok to remove salty water from the vegetable.
②Add all of the ★ingredients to a bowl and mix them together well.
③Add the Wombok、mix well.
Mix well and knead the mixture with hand until it becomes pale in color and sticky.
Cover with plastic wrap and keep at room temperature for 30 minutes.
④Wet the edge of the gyoza skins with water and place a teaspoon of filling on top of each skin. Then close it up.
⑤Oil the frying pan and fry the gyoza until browned on Medium heat, then pour in some hot water, and place the lid of the pan on top.
⑥Steam the gyoza for 5-6 minutes until the skins go translucent then turn the heat up to high and evapourate all of the water.
⑦When the water has evapourated, drizzle in some sesame oil from the sides of the pan, and cook the gyoza until crispy.
⑧Serve with Ponzu withh Rāyu (Chili Oil).

餃子のタネ
白菜 250g
塩 小さじ1/2
★豚ひき肉 140g
脂身の多い方が良いです。
あればラードを大匙1くらい加えるともっと美味しい!
★紹興酒(ないときは酒)小さじ1-2
↑わざわざ買ってもほんとは加えてもらいたい!
★醤油 小さじ1
★顆粒ガラスープ小さじ1プラス小さじ1のお湯
★ごま油 小さじ1
★すりおろしにんにく小さじ1
*ごま油
【作り方】
①白菜は細かく刻んで塩をまぶして少し置いておく。
出た水分を手でぎゅっと絞る。
②★の材料をボウルに入れて白っぽくねっとりするまで、混ぜ続ける。
③白菜を加えてさらに良く混ぜる。
ラップなどをして室温で30分ほどおいておく。
④餃子の皮の上に小さじ1くらいの餃子のタネを乗せて、ふちを水で濡らしひだを寄せて形を整える。
⑤フライパンに油をひいて、餃子を並べ中火で焦げ目が軽くつくくらいまで焼いたら、熱湯を注ぎ入れふたをする
⑥餃子の皮が半透明になるまで5-6分焼いて、最後は強火にして水分を飛ばす。
⑦水分が無くなったらごま油を加えて1分ほど強火でカリカリに焼く。
⑧お好みでポン酢、ラー油、からし、お酢などでどうぞ!
粘り気がでるまでしっかりと手が疲れるくらい混ぜることと、混ぜ終わったら野菜と挽肉がなじむまで30分ほど休ませると美味しい焼き餃子になります^^
