💒Tour of my dream kitchen now up on Youtube (link in profile), my favourite part of the house designed with functionality and easy maintenance in mind. I chose cool grey cabinets with black appliances and accents for a modern look. The marble bench top on the kitchen island, bench top and splashback give the space an elevated and airy feel. Also featuring my Instagrammable Millennial pink & gold Bathoom with marble porcelain wall tiles to tie in with the marble theme of the kitchen.

A lot of you have asked how my favorite sous chef helps me in the kitchen or what the pink thing is 😂❤️
...it's called a Learning Tower!
***
A Learning Tower is a Montessori-based tool to help little ones safely have access to the kitchen, sink, counters, etc.
It helps build autonomy, life skills, connection and gives them the "freedom within boundaries" that toddlers thrive on.
***
We bought this second-hand from a friend who had a carpenter "hack" it from an IKEA step stool. Ideally, the bar across should be higher to keep your little one from falling over .
There are lots DIY tutorials for making your own (just Google or Pinterest!) or there are some that you can buy and import from around the world but w a very fancy price too. 😅🙈
***
Among many things, Ella Grace uses her Learning Tower to:
- Cook w me
- Prep veggies on the counter
- Make, mix, stir, pour on our island
- Get access to our mixer/blender/toaster/bread maker etc
- Do dishes
- Wash veggies
- Wash her hands
- Flush her nose
- Clean up her art materials
- Switch the lights on and off
- Kepoh next to mama 😂❤️
She's "in charge" of it so will push it around to wherever she needs it.
It's a really neat tool to have in the kitchen but of course, a stepping stool or chair would also work, just make sure to keep them a safe distance away and always spot them.

New Zealand itinerary纽西兰旅程 (English and Chinese version)

English version
This was my first time to New Zealand. For those who have never been here before, I reckon that planning the trip is going to be worth it. New Zealand is really by far the most beautiful country I’ve ever been, with beautiful scenery everywhere as if a painting is following you around.
My boyfriend and I rented a car when we were in Queenstown and Auckland. There is no need to apply for international license to drive in NZ for Malaysian.
A little advice for you, I strongly recommend (or compulsory) you guys to rent a car if you’re coming to Queenstown. It’s much more convenient because you’ll be driving a lot to places outside of Queenstown. On top of that, you can stop by anywhere and anytime for photos and enjoy the magnificent view. And I do not recommend you to rent a car in Auckland, due to the difficulty of finding a parking and the convenience of using their public transports.
Also, we actually booked a few activities such as Heli glacier, skydiving, mount cook trekking and so on, but these activities got cancelled due to the weather. So here’s a little advice, check the weather forecast before your trip and try to arrange your activities on the first few days so you are able to arrange at later dates of your trip if your activity gets cancelled due to the weather.
Regarding the airbnb that we stayed in Queenstown, it was facing an incredible view with an outdoor spa! Most importantly, it was a crazy bargain at only around RM300-400 per night (it could have been more expensive by now). You can also look for cheaper air bnb. After all you definitely won’t be spending much time in the stay other than sleeping in it.
Here's the link to airbnb (https://www.airbnb.co.nz/rooms/11422391?s=51), for first time airbnb user, get MYR105 off by using this link (www.airbnb.co.nz/c/cloh116).
10 days has never been enough to explore the whole NZ, I guess it takes a month to travel the south island. We spent most of our time in south island, for north island we only travelled to Auckland. I personally prefer south island more and had the opportunity to visit Milford Sound, Glenorchy, Lake Pukaki, Lake Tekapo, Wanaka, and so on.

pink kitchen island 在 Zermatt Neo Youtube 的精選貼文
In this episode, we whipped up a 3.5KG Nuclear Mac’N’Cheese in Neo’s Kitchen using Samyang’s Hot Chicken Sauces. We are all familiar with the traditional forms of Mac’N’Cheese, be it purely cheese and pasta goodness, juiced up with bacon and spring onions or cooked with evaporated milk. Instead of following the tried and tested methods, we decided to spice ours up quite literally with the fiery concoctions made by Samyang. Samyang is a famous brand from Korea that are known for their spicy products.
Hot Chicken Sauce comes in 3 varieties, Original (in black), Extreme (in red) and Cabonara (in pink), and are available island-wide in quaint bottles. Other than the addition of these sauces, we did not veer much from your standard Mac’N’Cheese. Using Gruyere and Cheddar as our cheeses, we tossed 2 bags of elbow macaroni into the resulting Mornay sauce. To the Mornay, we added the Extreme and Cabonara varieties of the Samyang Hot and Spicy Sauce. The Mac’N’Cheese was then piled onto our Giant Plate and garnished with more grated cheddar, spring onions and additional drizzles of the sauces.
The Mac’N’Cheese was deliciously heavy as expected, thick and gooey. The Carbonara sauce was mild and creamy, very suitable for those with low spice tolerance while the Extreme sauce was spicy as expected, but not overwhelming and perfect for Asian palates. Mixing them into the Mac’N’Cheese gave it a distinct red colour and a refreshing kick to the savoury dish. The sauces were slightly salty, so reduce your added salt if you attempt this dish. Our choice of Gruyere and Cheddar came together beautifully, bringing nutty and salty notes to the pasta.
As expected for a heavy milk-based dish, it became a struggle towards the end but I pushed through. One thing about the Samyang Hot Chicken Sauces is that you can customise the spice level simply by adjusting the amount of it you squeeze into the dish you are making. They are also very versatile, especially for spice-lovers and the adventurous, as the food you can use them on are almost limitless. Samyang Hot Chicken Sauce would be a great addition to your pantry to add the perfect flaming twist to your food, so get them at supermarkets near you today!
