It always takes up a lot of courage for me to go to these events because of the judgement I’ve had all my life about my body. I know I’m not fat but in the eyes of the Asian Entertainment Industry I’m considered a “big girl”. Before posting the back shot photo of this post, I considered using an app to make my body slimmer...in the end I didn’t and I decided that I wanted to represent someone who has a healthy body with curves. So, this is me...this is who I am...and hey, that’s what God gave me so I’m not going to try to be what I’m not.
I hope that everybody will be happy in their own bodies. Yes, I believe in eating right, exercising and taking care of your bodies to feel good...but, it’s so important to love our own bodies and I know how hard that can be...even now I struggle. So, #dontfightit #embracewhatyouhave
