🤓phD實驗田系列分享🧪Mulching覆蓋
Mulching是生態種植設計的重要一環。在底土(subsoil)之上覆蓋100mm以上的碎石(gravel)、樹皮(bark)或堆肥(compost)等材料能保溫、保濕、減少揚塵、減少雜草。本實驗使用compost，除了上述優勢外還能為植物提供養分。
一般来說mulching是群落搭建的前期準備階段，有不同方法可以搭建群落：「播種」或「種植」，我的實驗是採用後者——直接將pot plants種植於mulch中，可以較快產生景觀效果。
