除左係婦女節之外，仲係翹妹全面復課嘅大喜之日！翹妹講足一星期「好中意返學」，今日一朝早就起身了🥰

留 意 Culley's reaction was one of shock 、 The problem is one of who should
do it 等 ， 意 思 等 於 Culley's reaction was shock 、 The problem is who
should do it ， 只 是 語 氣 稍 強 一 點 。 翻 譯 時 ， 那 one of 大 可 不 必
直 譯 。 讀 者 示 下 那 一 句 ， 可 翻 譯 如 下 ： 「 安 德 魯 ． 卡 利 最 初
聽 到 二 十 一 歲 的 女 兒 說 ， 要 離 開 大 學 ， 往 伊 拉 克 工 作 ， 不 禁
大 吃 一 驚 。 」

由 於 讀 者 沒 有 示 下 完 整 的 句 子 ， 我 沒 法 猜 到 stay tune 的 意 思 ，
也 許 是 stay tuned 之 誤 。 Tune 作 動 詞 ， 可 解 作 「 把 （ 收 音 機 、
電 視 等 ） 調 至 某 頻 道 」 ， 例 如 ： I tuned in to Channel One to hear
the weather report （ 我 把 收 音 機 調 到 第 一 頻 道 ， 聽 天 氣 報 告 ） 。
Stay 有 「 繼 續 」 的 意 思 ， 其 後 常 用 形 容 詞 或 過 去 分 詞 （ past
participle ， 即 完 成 式 動 詞 ） ， 例 如 ： He stayed seated （ 他 仍 然 坐
著 ） 。 Stay tuned 即 「 繼 續 收 聽 / 收 看 某 個 頻 道 」 ， 例 如 ：
Please stay tuned for the evening news （ 請 繼 續 收 看 隨 後 的 晚 間 新 聞
） 。
