Exploring the beauty of
my father's hometown, HuaLian.
探索父親的美麗故鄉 - 花蓮 (Day 1 / Part 1)

It wasn't as far away as I imagined!
It took me just two and a half hour by train
from the Taipei Main Station to HuaLian.
沒有想像中遙遠，
只要兩個半小時，
就能從台北車站抵達花蓮站！

Since it's so convenient to hire driver's
with spacious vans in HuaLian.
I really don't suggest you to drive.
Traffic and Parking could give you a headache
in hot spots in the mountains.
包車非常方便，所以不建議自己開車。
在熱門的山區景點，交通跟停車會真的會頭痛！

On our second day in Taiwan we travelled to Yuhliu, the abandoned UFO village and Jiufen!

We had an amazing time, travelling and exploring these beautiful areas of Taiwan. From the mountains by Jiufen to the rocky shore of Yuhliu we discovered the best places to travel in these locations.

Taiwan is home to so many hidden gems for travellers to enjoy and we hope this video helps guide you in your travels to Jiufen and Yuhliu.

The abandoned village of Taiwan was breathtaking and we were surprised to see how quiet and off the beaten path it was. We vlogged and travelled through the whole place and couldn’t find another person. It truly was a hidden gem of Taiwan and a must visit if you are travelling in Taiwan.

Another favourite of the day was Jiufen which is an old mining village found in the mountains of Taiwan. We hiked, vlogged and discovered all of the best spots to visit in Jiufen!
