冬瓜盅 淡菜 新鮮杞子 夜香花 Wintermelon Soup, with Hong Kong Dried Mussels, Fresh Italian Goji Berries & Night Fragrant Flowers. My Recipe is in fact 2 traditional Cantonese recipes in 1, but underlying reason is because with #冬瓜盅 , unless it's at a Wedding Banquet 婚宴 with flair & so called prestige, sometimes I don't desire too much Prawns, Chinese Ham, Crab Meat, Roast Duck, Lotus seeds, Shiitake etc all clashing & competing together for murky flavors 🙄.

I think Wintermelon itself is a 'Pure, Sweet, Summer soothing' flavor especially when you cut it open you could smell it in the air like the ozone 😍.. and all it needed was some dried local HK Mussels but majoritatively Vegetables based is cool for melon flavor purity..
