黃刀鎮 Yellowknife│跳舞麋鹿咖啡屋 (葷素共融)
我在黃刀鎮住過兩個不同的地區,蠻推薦舊城區的,感覺不會太繁忙,而且可愛又有趣的咖啡屋比較多!像這家 Dancing Moose Cafe (跳舞麋鹿咖啡屋),雖然只營業半天,但無論先去吃完早餐再出去逛街;還是逛到中午,來這邊休息,都是不錯的選擇喔~
Vegan 的餐點不多,午餐的話就只有「Grilled Portobello & Eggplant Burger 大啡菇茄子純素漢堡 (CA13.95)」。不過!大啡菇非常多汁,而且比較少見到用茄子做漢堡,加分!蛋奶素也有一款漢堡可以選擇,價格一樣,旅伴說還不錯吃喔!早餐也有一款vegan的,有機會會再來~
這家咖啡屋的氛圍真的很不錯,特別是冬天,喝著我最愛的Chai Latte (香料茶拿鐵),看著外面的雪景,真幸運!對了,這裡的咖啡、拿鐵都可以轉用豆奶喔~
PS 你還可以訂它旗下的住宿,就在咖啡屋樓上
Yellowknife│Dancing Moose Cafe (veg friendly)
I have lived in two different areas in Yellowknife. I recommend the old town. It doesn't feel too busy, and there are more cute and interesting cafes! Like this Dancing Moose Cafe, but it is only open for half day.
There are not many vegan meals. For lunch, there is only "Grilled Portobello & Eggplant Burger (CA13.95)". BUT! The mushroom is very juicy, and it is rare to use eggplant for burgers. Extra points! There is another vegetarian burger, the price is the same, and my travel companion said it was delicious! There is also a vegan breakfast, I will come again if I have the chance ~
The atmosphere of this Cafe is really chill, especially in winter, drinking my favorite Chai Latte and looking at the snow outside, so blessing! By the way, you can change to soy milk for coffee and latte ~

我們只能喝牛奶嗎?We can only drink COW MILK?
應該很多人跟我一樣,是喝牛奶長大的吧!它被宣傳為營養好吸收,適合嬰兒、小孩;還有高鈣,也適合成年人和老年人。直到數年前,我才知道了牛奶的真相,可以參考這影片:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvRgV34MV4Y
其實不飲用「動物奶」,改為「植物奶」,選擇更多呢!而且乳糖不耐症患者也可飲用,卡路里和膽固醇含量較牛奶低,還含多種礦物質;現在甚至有專門用來沖咖啡的植物奶,我們可以很輕鬆地擺脫「動物奶」了!下面給大家分享我平常喝的植物奶~
1. 豆奶
非常普遍的植物奶,是vegan飲食的主要蛋白質來源,非常多口味:黑芝麻、朱古力、草莓等
2. 椰奶
由椰子的果肉榨出,含有大量的飽和脂肪,熱量也較低;我喜歡朱古力味的椰奶
3. 米奶
米含有一定份量的糖,所以製造過程一般都不需額外加糖,米奶本身不含乳糖與膽固醇,是乳糖不耐症與豆類、堅果類過敏患者的替代品呢!喝起來有米香、微甜,喜歡~
4. 杏仁奶
近年最受歡迎的植物奶,因為其豐富的鈣質與低熱量對體重控制很有幫助!如果你像我,不太喜歡杏仁味道的話,可以試試朱古力口味,香濃滑順的口感,超愛
5. 腰果奶
富含維生素,礦物質等,可以增強免疫力並改善心臟,眼睛和皮膚健康。我覺得腰果奶一樣有一股味道,但也是可以靠選擇不同口味來解決喔~
6. 燕麥奶
燕麥奶與其他奶類最大的不同是碳水化合物與纖維素含量較高,無麩質(Gluten-free),所以如果你對奶製品、大豆、麩質過敏,燕麥奶是很好的替代品!燕麥奶現在超受大家歡迎,也推出了專門給沖咖啡用的版本呢
7. 火麻仁奶
火麻仁奶沒有其他植物奶般流行,但在歐美愈來愈多人看到它的好處了!它不含糖和膽固醇,也不含麩質。 具有脂肪酸,維生素和營養素,有助於皮膚護理、改善心臟健康、提高骨骼密度、增強免疫力等等。這款香草味火麻仁奶非常易入口
8. 鷹嘴豆奶
個人很喜歡吃鷹嘴豆 (鷹嘴豆含有10多種胺基酸,其中人體必需的8種胺基酸全部具備,而且含量比燕麥還要高出2倍以上),但鷹嘴豆奶真的是第一次嘗試,鷹嘴豆的味道很濃,會建議大家用在製造smoothie會比較好 😅

Vitasoy Cafe for Baristas Plant Milk Range is so healthy and delicious, it has become our go-to for a nice cup of tea or coffee these days (or even by itself)! I love how it can froth so easily as well, so I can enjoy a cup of super smooth and full bodied latte or cappuccinos at home too!
Ingredients:
1 Cup all natural sugar free peanut butter
Less than 2/3 cups of monk fruit sweetener (I added 1 table spoon of honey)
1 large egg
1) Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix until it thickens
2) Roll into small balls then flatten
3) Bake in the oven 10-12mins at 180degrees Celsius.
4) Ready to Serve

I lived in Sydney, Australia for a whole year when I was 20 year old. That's where I started my cooking journey! I loved drinking coffee at Bondi beach, yes I worked as a chef assistant at a cafe in Bondi. I actually never tried lamington when I was there. Ingredients: makes 6 mini kouglofs
For the kouglof :
100 pastry flour
130g orange
25g oat milk (or whatever you like)
30g oil
60g beet sugar
1 tsp baking powder
For the frosting :
100g icing sugar
7g cacao powder
1 tsp coconut oil
1 1/2 tbsp home made vanilla extract (or water)
coconut flakes
Instructions:
1. In a blender, combine orange, oil and oat milk together and blend well.
2. add pastry flour, sugar and baking powder and mix well.
3. pour the mixture into a kouglof pan. bake at 180C/356F for 30 minutes.
4. mix all the ingredients for the frosting and pour over kouglof. sprinkle coconut flakes.
5. set aside and wait until it completely dries (it takes about a few hours to a day)
6. Enjoy!

2、薄力粉とベーキングパウダーを篩い入れ、混ぜ合わせる。
3、クグロフ型に流し込み、180℃で30分、オーブンで焼く。
4、フロスティングの材料を全て混ぜ合わせる。必要に応じて水で固さを調節する。クグロフ全体に垂らす。
5、完全に乾くまで待ちます。(数時間〜1日ほど)
6、エンジョーイ!
