On November 13th 2020, we kicked off our first Firm-wide Day of Service, an initiative to summon McKinsey colleagues around the world to contribute to social impact together. Within the Taipei office, over 80 colleagues joined in to participate, connect, and give back to society across four key themes: Reflect, Immerse, Build and Scale.
During “Reflect”, colleagues gathered through an in-house ideation program to jointly design Taipei Office’s social impact roadmap for the coming year. Together with the Chinese Childrenhome & Shelter Association, we hosted “Immerse”, a problem solving session together with the organization’s senior managers and social workers. We had delightful discussions during our “Build” business bootcamp with the Foundation of Women’s Rights and Development, for their Power of Women accelerator program to provide coaching on business concepts for Taiwan’s new residents who are also female entrepreneurs. In “Scale”, we also had the honor to engage with 40+ founders, executives and top managers from Teach for Taiwan, Junyi Academy, KIPP Inspired Schools in Taiwan, and One-Forty in a collision workshop, to jointly discuss the most pressing challenges in education and brainstorm potential solutions to collectively amplify social impact.
We are thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with these inspiring nonprofits in Taiwan during our Day of Service, and we look forward to engaging in more social impact-related initiatives in the future.
2020年11月13日，麥肯錫世界各地舉行了第一次“服務日” (Day of Service)，來自全球的同事在這一天放下手邊工作，共同參與公益服務。台北辦公室一共有超過80位同事參加，針對“反思、投入、建構、成長” 四大主題，一起為社會影響力貢獻心力。
我們在辦公室內進行了以“反思”為主題的發想計畫，共同擬定了麥肯錫台北辦公室未來一年的社會影響力發展藍圖。我們也與中華育幼機構兒童關懷協會共同舉辦“投入” 研討會，為組織內部的主管與社工們透過問題解決方法論，引導組織未來的營運方向。“建構”是我們與婦女權益促進發展基金會合作的商業訓練營，麥肯錫的顧問們與新住民女性創業家展開交流，並提供創業指導與建議。最後，我們也很榮幸邀請到來自為台灣而教、均一平台、誠致教育基金會、以及One-Forty超過40位的創辦人、執行團隊與高階主管，在教育影響力工作坊中的分享和對談中一起“成長”，共同探討台灣的教育議題以及提升各組織間合作綜效的長期策略。
我們非常感謝有機會在服務日這天與台灣的非營利組織建立更深的認識與交流，也期許未來能夠在社會影響力的推動上有更多合作。
最近疫情已經從亞洲向全球開始擴散，當初一開始聽到時還以為是小事，可是當事情發展至今我覺得是時候以我的微薄之力發聲了。做了這首歌不是為了給大家帶來無謂的希望（畢竟這類的歌已經夠多了），而是想試著讓我們稍微反思並且意識到在災難面前所有爭論都是無意義的。此外近期除了這次疫情也發生了很多其他的災害，也希望我們不要無視這些大自然的警告，而是從你我開始避免未來同樣的事件重演。最後還是要向災區的醫護人員致敬，帶著這份決不畏懼的精神，他們才是真正戰場上的英雄。
Recently the virus has been spreading not only across Asia, but also around the world. And just like everyone else, I wasn't expecting such a huge impact at first. Now realizing how wrong I was, I've decided to speak up about the situation. One thing I'd like to make clear is that my intention with this song isn't to provide any kind of hope—as they've already existed everywhere—, but instead to try and make us reflect and re-evaluate ourselves, which may hopefully lead to the realization that any argument at this point is meaningless. Moreover, aside from this outbreak, there are plenty incidents of natural disasters happening lately as well. This song also serves as a reminder for us to not neglect these warnings so we could prevent the future crises. Finally, to all the medical staff involved in this battle, we must salute you as you are the real heroes and deserve our wholehearted respect!

Sony Music artists across Asia have united to create a stunning rendition of Taiwanese superstar Eric Chou’s original track “Forever Beautiful.” The new collaborative version titled “Forever Beautiful: All for One Version” features Eric Chou alongside 14 artists from nine regions across Asia singing in both Chinese and English.
In “Forever Beautiful: All for One Version”, the 14 collaborating artists joined Eric Chou by recording their parts remotely across the Asia region, to convey an important message through these touching lyrics: we may speak and sing in different languages and represent the many ethnicities and cultures of Asia, but we are all united with solidarity and support. In these challenging times, music can bring hope and peace along with the message of love and compassion.
Alongside Eric Chou, the artists featured in “Forever Beautiful: All for One Version” represent the vibrant and diverse roster of Sony Music Asia, including Eric Chou (the original singer/songwriter) and singer Kelly Cheng from Taiwan, Wafa, a member from Bahiyya Haneesa (an acapella group from Malaysia), R&B-pop singer NYK, Singaporean artists Benjamin Kheng, Narelle and Sezairi, HÀ LÊ, a vocalist from Vietnam, popular indie-folk-pop band Ben&Ben from the Philippines, singer-songwriter and producer E.viewz from South Korea, singer Fatin from Indonesia, singer-songwriter Jocelyn C from Beijing, and Hong Kong artists Phil Lam, Jason Chan, and Cath Wong.
The video for “Forever Beautiful: All for One Version” features a montage of footage featuring all 15 artists singing their parts, along with images that reflect the current situation across the Asian region.

每逢新的一年到來時，街上會出現提款機排長龍的所謂街道奇觀。這些人們不一定存款豐厚，不過她他們抱着，寧可信其有，不可信其無的心態，以新年前夕或正日，先存入一點錢，做爲新的一年裡，有錢進的自我賜福法。
她他們有錯嗎？
若要論對與錯，她他們衹是不知道，福份的由來，福份的緣起。
那些到提款機，做自我賜福法的人們，是否一一如願? 這就要視各人的福份而定了。
吾，玳瑚師父，在此稍提個建議，供大家參考參考。想要在自我賜福法中獲益的人：
一，先清舊債。
二，一心有錢出錢，有力出力，或錢與力同出的，做慈善及公益。
三，一心奉養父母。
积累福份的方法，是還有好一些的。以上所供大家參考的三項，若妳你都不要堅守，吾再教妳你其它的，就顯得多此一舉了。
别小看這三法，這三法也是自我賜福法。不同的在於，如法不如法。
妳你身邊有人嗎？告訴妳你一個秘密，吾就是奉持此三法，而成就錢用不完的。這下糟糕了，吾原來不是對妳你一個人說，而是對眾宣說啊!oh my Buddha!看啦!都是妳你們害的。哈........!

When the new year comes around, long queues will form at ATM machines, creating a phemoneon known as the Street Wonder.
These people may not deposit huge amount of money, but they rather believe that it holds true than it does not. So on the commencement day of Spring or its eve, they would deposit some money to symbolise the inflow of money in the new year. This is the practice of self-bestowal of blessings.
Are they wrong?
If we want to talk about right and wrong, they are merely wrong about the source of good fortune and its affinity origin.
Those who went to the ATM machines to bestow blessings upon themselves, do they all get their wishes granted?
I, Master Dai Hu, has a suggestion here for every one of you to think about.
To gain from the self-bestowal of blessings:
1. Clear old debts.
2. Donate money when you have, and contribute physical effort when you can.Or give both money and effort for charity and public service.
3. Wait on and support both parents.
The methods to accumulate good fortune are more than these. The 3 ways I mentioned above for your reference, if you do not wish to hold fast to them, teaching you other ways will simply be unnecessary.
Do not underestimate these 3 ways. The only difference is whether they are in accordance with the universal laws.
Is there anyone beside you? Tell you a secret.I uphold reverently these 3 ways and that is how I attain never-ending wealth to spend. Oh gosh, I realise I am not speaking to you alone, but to the entire world! Oh my Buddha! See lah! It's all your fault! Ha........!
