We are truly enjoying our family hikes because they give us a chance to slow down, to breathe in some fresh air, to find time for family bonding, to stay away from screens and have a digital detox, to get close to nature and appreciate the little wonders all around us.
Yup, all this without having to pay a cent and we still get to keep fit and stay healthy together, so why not?
Glad these kids love it as much as I do, if not more. They were happy to spot hundreds of water spiders, fishes, snails, bugs and even a stingray too, even though it was just a brief walk. Hoping to find more time on weekends to continue with our explorations, even when school starts and after baby comes out. We can do it! ❤
P.S. It might be a little hard to spot the belly here but yup, I am 25 weeks preggie and moving into the last trimester soon. Guess more walking and climbing stairs will do me good, right? I wanna remain an active mum who brings her kids for outdoor fun! Woohoo!
