Video - The Twins loving School
We never had problems sending our kids to School even from a very young age .
Be it Bella , Tasha , Adam or Noah .
The kids are always hunger for knowledge wanting to learn new things .
Some kids cry not wanting to go .
Some kids throw tantrums lasting for weeks and parents not knowing what to do ..
So how do I do it ?
Here’s some tips to make the transition easy peasy .
1. Exposure from young
Toddlers as young as 2 years old need to be exposed to new surroundings and new people .
Most kids are terrified being left out to a new place which explains their reactions .
2. Separation anxiety
When a child is too attached to their parents he will cry his lungs out not wanting
to be separated . It becomes difficult when Mommy or Daddy is already at the gate wanting to leave .
3. Prepare them the night before
Before bedtime describe the kids plan for School the next day . A child doesn’t like surprises and needs to know what to expect . Just like us adults .
4. Make the journey fun
Put on some nursery rhymes or sing along while driving to the School .
These activities put them in a happy mood once they arrive at School .
5. Say Goodbye and leave
Drop the child at the gate , hugs & kisses and walk off . Don’t dilly dally too long or the child might change his mind wanting to follow you back .
6. Hug them proudly
Upon picking the Child from School , hug them tightly and say how proud you are .
It builds their level of confidence and feeling good at the same time .
7. Ask your Child how exciting School was .
Listen as he describes the fun things done at School . Beam with pride . Let him do the talking . The Euphoric feeling will make the Child wanting to go to School the next day .
8. Ask the teachers
Always enquire about your Child’s level of happiness at School . A child who is playful and socialising well indicate that he’s comfortable and happy at School .
9. Listen to their complaints and take them seriously. Help your kid to solve what’s bothering them at School.
10. Choose the right School

Learn more about nutrients in eggs
According to the Chinese tradition, individuals who celebrate their birthday will eat eggs that have been dyed red. In the past, people would dye the eggs with Rhodamine B, but it was not a healthy option because it is an industrial chemical. Nowadays people would dye the eggs with food coloring or just wrap it with red glass paper.
Eggs are suitable for both young and old to consume. From the perspective of Chinese Medicine, it is mild in nature, can nourish the yin and moisten the body, nourish the blood, improve the wellbeing of the fetus, and strengthen the brain. How should we prepare eggs to enjoy its greatest benefits? Let us look at the Q&A below to see if they can answer your questions.
Q: Can we eat more than one egg a day?
A: Depends on your diet. If you have consumed a lot of protein-based food like fish, meat and soy products, then one egg is enough; if there is a lack of protein in your diet, you can replenish it by taking more eggs.
Q: I heard the cholesterol in the yolk is very high, should we just eat the egg white?
A: According to recent medical studies, the cholesterol we consume through food is not the main contributor of the cholesterol in our blood. In order to prevent the cholesterol levels from rising, we need to monitor the consumption of foods that contain saturated and trans fat. Egg yolk, on the other hand, contains a lot of nutrients that are not found in the egg white, for instance, Omega-3, iron, zinc, and folic acid. So do not toss the egg yolk away!
Q: What is the best way to cook eggs?
A: Fully cooked eggs are the best because the raw ones contain avidin, which is hard to digest and to absorb the protein. When the eggs are cooked, the structure of the egg white will change, making it easier for the body to absorb. Our body can absorb at least 90% of the protein if they are completely boiled, but it can only absorb 30%-50% if the eggs are still raw. Moreover, eggs might contain salmonella, so we might risk getting an infection if we eat soft-boiled eggs and poached eggs that are not fully cooked. Therefore, toddlers and elders with a weak immune system are encouraged to consume eggs that are fully cooked.

what toddlers need to learn 在 Crisel Consunji - Artist / Educator Facebook 的精選貼文
"Childhood is not a race to see how quickly a child can read, write and count. It is a small window of time to learn and develop at the pace that is right for each individual child…"
- Magda Gerber
This quote from Magda Gerber (founder of RIE, champion of respectful approaches in childcare) rings so true each time we meet an infant, toddler or young child. More so during these times, we educators have had to remember what our role truly is. With all the changes that have rocked our world, we go down to the most basic of our work—to get to know and celebrate the authentic child.
As a teacher, I have to admit that I sometimes get wrapped in thinking about WHAT the children are learning—vocabulary, numbers, beats, and motor skills etc.—that I forget HOW they learn. On countless occasions, I have found myself guilty of expecting (or hoping for) a visible output, instead of trusting the process. You know the pressure parents feel when people ask, “Has your child done this or that?” We teachers experience that, too.
We hear messages like, “She doesn’t seem to focus… He’s not doing the activity… Why isn’t she tapping? He can’t sit still… Maybe he’s not interested.” We know the child is perfectly capable, and that all experiences build up to support her growth. However, in a fast-paced world like ours, there is often an immediate need to “see a result,” not realising that the most effective learning takes time to root and grow from within.
“Slow but sure” is always a good way to go. In the coming days, I will be sharing some insights on the learning philosophies of @baumhaushk during these times.
