Construction of National Roads 2 and 22 has reached 16%
After the opening of the construction site in February, the restoration and construction of National Road No. 2 and No. 22 (from Takhmao to Ang Ta Som) has now reached 16%.
This is according to His Excellency Sun Chanthol, Minister of Public Works and Transport, on the occasion of inspecting the road condition affected by the flood on September 16.
"As planned, there is nothing wrong with the momentum, if we compare to the plan, we have 16 percent, according to the report of my technicians who came to check."
His Excellency always instructed the working group to inspect the construction of these two roads carefully to avoid any delay in the construction process, as when His Excellency visited the construction site last May. (Read more )
It should also be noted that National Road No. 2 and No. 22 to be restored have a total length of more than 72 kilometers. The project is under construction with a budget of approximately $ 56 million, financed by the Government of the Republic of Korea, together with a contribution from the Royal Government of Cambodia.
Both roads will be constructed of high-quality AC (Asphalt Concrete) roads and the construction will take about 30 months. (Read more )
