運動前中後補水法
做運動出汗會令身體大量流失水分,必須飲水補充,等到口渴才飲水已經太遲,應該在運動前、中、後期都適量飲水,一般運動飲清水已經足夠;運動飲料只適合進行劇烈運動,如馬拉松、打籃球等大量流汗後飲用,消耗量不足又過量飲用容易致肥。也建議大家運動前後飲用米水,迅速補充體力。
運動前飲水:
- 運動前30分鐘飲用約100-150毫升水
- 如果進行戶外活動,運動前飲水尤其重要,有助預防中暑
- 冬天宜喝暖水幫助暖身
運動中飲水:
- 感到口渴要適量飲一兩口水
- 未有口渴感覺,亦建議每15-20分鐘飲50-100毫升清水
- 補水次數跟據運動時間長短、強度、環境等有所不同
運動後飲水:
- 切勿一時間狂灌大量水份,以免導致「中水毒」低血鈉的情況
- 運動後兩小時內,分數次飲用300-500毫水清水,讓身體逐漸吸收
*飲水量按天氣、體質、運動強度等因素而每人不同,以上飲水量只作參考用途。

Hydration before, during and after sports
We are bound to lose fluid when we sweat during sports. Hence, we must rehydrate the body regularly. In fact, we should be drinking water even before we feel thirsty. It is important to drink enough water before, during, and after sports.
Drinking plain water is good enough, but we can opt for isotonic drinks for more intense and sweat-inducing sports such as marathon and basketball. Please be mindful that excessive consumption of isotonic drinks can cause fat to accumulate if we do not exercise enough to burn the calories. It is also good to drink rice water before and after sports to replenish our stamina.
Before sports:
- Drink 100-150ml of water 30 minutes before the session
- This is especially important for outdoor sports to prevent heatstroke
- Opt for warm water in the winter to keep the body warm
During sports
- Take a sip or two when you feel thirsty
- Try to drink 50-100ml of water every 15-20 minutes even when you are not thirsty
- Hydrate the body according to the duration and intensity of the sports as well as the environment
After sports
- Avoid gulping down a lot of water in one go, as it could cause water intoxication (when the amount of salt and other electrolytes in your body become too diluted)
- Drink 300-500ml of plain water in stages within the next two hours, so the body can gradually absorb the liquid
*The advice above is just for reference. Adjust consumption of water according to the weather, individual's body condition, and the intensity of the sports.

Good morning 💞
To me , the only way to keep mindful and calm is meditation 🧘♀️ . Many people taught me how to meditate , some opened my cakra and taught me how to see light during meditation 🧘♀️ , some told me to see spirit ✨ , some wanted me suppress my thoughts . The procedures were complicated like I was prep to go to the heaven to meet God . Frankly, before #reachingthere my mind got messed up. I could not even sit still for minutes ... till one morning 🌄 when my guru was teaching us meditation, I found my own pace and method. The core is ➖ breathing . I enter into a silent mode . No big brighlight as described. No illusion, no 🦸♂️ , no thoughts , no 🧟♂️ . Its only me & myself . I start to feel myself in silent . That is MEDITATION ❗I like the feeling and I practice at least once everyday.
I encourage all my friends to meditate . It's really 👍 for you .

你適合喝酒嗎?
不少男士都喜歡「飲返兩杯」,酒是減壓、交際應酬不可少的飲料,從中醫角度來看,酒也是一種中藥,無論是葡萄酒、啤酒、燒酒、白酒或是黃酒,都是屬性偏溫,有散寒氣、通血脈的功效,與所有食材一樣,適量及配合體質飲用可和氣行血;相反飲酒過量容易於體內聚濕、生痰、化熱,影響肝及脾臟的正常運作。加上都市人多熬夜,飲食不節制,多喝酒會令身體更為濕熱,故要適可宜止。
如你有以下症狀,可適量飲酒:
- 手足冰冷等虛寒症狀
- 手腳麻痺、關節疼痛等氣血不通的症狀
- 淋雨或感受寒濕之邪
- 外傷跌打後用作活血化瘀
如果你有以下症狀,不宜喝酒:
- 胃病
- 肝病
- 痛風
- 高血壓
- 心臟病
- 糖尿病患者
- 月經期間、孕婦及哺乳期婦女
- 濕熱
- 痰濕
- 陰虛
如果不小心多喝幾杯,醒來有宿醉症狀,可以適量進食柚子、梨、西瓜、香蕉、蘋果或橙,這些水果都有解酒作用。或者沖泡一杯花旗參梨乾茶,有醒酒、紓緩宿醉不適症狀。
花旗參梨茶
功效:醒酒,紓緩酒後不適如頭重欲吐、無胃口等症狀。
材料:花旗參1湯匙、梨乾3-4片
做法:材料洗淨放保溫瓶,以熱開水沖洗一遍,注入熱開水焗約15分鐘即可。此茶可反覆沖泡至味淡。

Is alcohol good for you?
Many men enjoy an alcoholic drink every now and then. Besides treating it as a stress reliever, alcohol is also an important beverage in social events. From the perspective of Chinese Medicine, alcoholic drinks, be it red wine, beer, shoju, white wine, or millet wine, they are all warm in nature and can dispel cold in the body and improve blood circulation. Just like any ingredients, individuals should consume them in an appropriate amount based on their body constitutions to improve the circulation of qi and blood.
Excessive drinking can cause dampness to accumulate in the body, induce phlegm production, and clear heat, affecting the functions of the liver and spleen. Besides, city folks tend to sleep late and are not mindful of their diets. It is easier for damp heat to accumulate in their body when they consume alcoholic beverages. Hence, it is crucial not to over-indulge in these drinks.
You can have an appropriate amount of alcoholic beverages if you have these symptoms:
- Symptoms such as cold limbs
- Numbness on the limbs, joint pain and stagnation of qi and blood
- After being invaded by the dampness and cold pathogenic factors or getting wet in the rain
- Has external injuries (alcohol can invigorate the blood and clear stasis)
You should avoid drinking alcoholic beverages if you have these symptoms:
- Gastrointestinal problem
- Liver problem
- Gout
- Hypertension
- Heart diseases
- Diabetic
- Women during menstruation, pregnant women, and mothers who are breastfeeding
- Damp heat
- Phlegm-dampness
- Yin deficiency
If you unintentionally consumed alcoholic drinks excessively and have a hangover, try eating pomelo, pear, watermelon, banana, apple, or orange, as these fruits can help relieve the condition. You can also make yourself a cup of American ginseng and dried pear tea to reduce the discomfort of a hangover.
American Ginseng tea with pear
Effects: Helps to sober up. Relieves symptoms such as heavy headedness, nausea, lack of appetite after drinking.
Ingredients: 1 tablespoon American Ginseng, 3-4 pieces dried pear
Preparation: Place all ingredients into thermos. Rinse once with hot water, add in hot water and steep for 15 minutes until aroma develops. This tea can be re-brewed until flavour weakens.

BaoSheng Durian Farm in located at Balik Pulau, approximately 40 minutes drive from the Penang International Airport / 1 hour drive from Georgetown. You can get to the Durian farm either by grab / taxi service but be mindful that it is very difficult to come out as there is no Grab service around the Farm. Bao Sheng Durian Farm not only provide fresh durian but also rented their guest house to public. An advance of 3-5 months are required to book the rooms as the rooms numbers are very limited and usually fully book within weeks of their booking. During durian season from April to October, a special free guided tour is given to the in house guest by the farm owner.
